About the service A well-established paediatric Occupational Therapist clinic built around a large purpose-built gym . Therapy looks and feels like play—obstacle courses, gross-motor circuits, imaginative group activities—underpinned by solid evidence and parent coaching. The Director (an OT) works clinically and keeps caseloads balanced to prevent burnout. We welcome new graduates and invest heavily in team development. What you’ll do Deliver small-group programs and 1:1 therapy for children 3–12 years within the clinic gym (occasionally school/home if clinically needed). Conduct assessments (often pre-term), write end-of-term summaries/reports , and set practical, functional goals with families. Use play-based, movement-rich approaches; PRPP (Perceive, Recall, Plan & Perform) experience is a big plus, love helping kids generate their own solutions. Collaborate daily with Occupational Therapists; plan programs together; participate in a friendly, multidisciplinary environment. Caseload snapshot Referral mix: 50% NDIS / 50% private . Presentations: Autism (50%) , attention difficulties, developmental delay, specific learning difficulties, DCD, etc. Balanced complexity : avoid heavy, burnout-style caseloads. What’s on offer Choose your hours — half-days welcome; manage your diary within term blocks Paid even on no-shows Holiday program (optional): e.g. $500 per morning supervising students; resources provided PD & supervision: termly team PD $1,000 towards interests; monthly formal supervision plus side-by-side learning.
